The Pathfinder, Inc. helps chemically dependent men and women learn daily living skills that lead to a responsible, clean and sober way of life. Since 1976, The Pathfinder, Inc. has provided long-term residential rehabilitation services to over 1,500 men and women who have been diagnosed with alcohol and/or drug dependence.
The Pathfinder is a residential rehabilitation program that provides follow up treatment for chemically dependent men and women. Each client is assigned to an addictions counselor upon admission into the program. The client receives an orientation packet and is assigned a senior client to act as a mentor for the new client. Each client is provided with an individualized treatment plan that outlines their treatment goals for the first 90 days. New clients will meet with their counselor at least once a week for an individual session for the first 30 days in the program. Clients must attend at least one 12 Step meeting per day and will meet with his/her counselor for a minimum of one group session per week. All clients must find a 12 Step sponsor to begin networking with the recovery community as part of their rehab plan.
The Pathfinder program provides clients with an alcohol and drug-free environment, food, shelter and other basic needs of everyday living. Clients receive individual and group counseling regarding their addiction, as well as independent living skills training, voluntary spiritual counseling, transportation assistance, and financial guidance. The Pathfinder provides connections to additional community resources with the ultimate goals of maintaining sobriety and living independently.
The Pathfinder men\'s and Stepping Stones women\'s programs have the same basic structure. The new client enters a six-phase progressive program that begins with the client\'s admission into the program and extends beyond their resident ial time in the program. Each phase includes developmental goals, emphasizing a higher level of responsibility and independence as the client progresses.
