Crowley\'s Ridge Development Council, Inc. is a community
action agency that serves the needs of citizens in
Northeast Arkansas. CRDC is aimed at helping families
and individuals  recognize their strengths, set realistic
goals, make responsible choices and become  successful,
self-sufficient members of the community.   Collaborating
with local, state, and national agencies, we provide a
broad range of direct,  anti-poverty services for moderate
to low-income customers and their communities.  We are
also committed to reducing the effects of poverty and to
empower  individuals, families and communities to meet the
challenges of today and the changes  of tomorrow.   
Programs offered by CRDC include:family development,
health and nutrition,  substance abuse treatment and prevent
ion measures etc.

The substance abuse treatment involves both in-patient and out-patient
treatment.

Out Patient Treatment option provides a unique
opportunity for a person to receive intensive treatment,
yet remain with family and continue employment. Our trained
staff focuses on Absence of withdrawal symptamology and
Stability of vital signs. We also provide Chemical Free
Living is a transitional living facility for men who have
successfully completed residential treatment. This eleven
bed home acts as a stabilizing force for residents who might
otherwise be facing homelessness or returning to a toxic
atmosphere where their continued sobriety may be severely
challenged. All residents must continue to focus on
maintaining their sobriety as well as successfully
integrating back into society by becoming employed.

Our Residential Treatment approach is holistic and focuses
not only on your sobriety, but also the root causes of
each individual\'s addiction. During treatment, participants
are asked to examine situations and behaviors that have
been stumbling blocks in their road to recovery.  
Treatments such as individual and group therapies
are introduced and maintained as primary coping mechanisms. In a 24 hour structured program, residents work on personal healing that leads to their sobriety.
