 CATAR Clinic is a center for addiction treatment and rehabilitation that  provides  quality 

 treatment services for qualified persons addicted to opiates and related  chemicals.  

Our Primary purpose is to assist clients in attaining the highest level  of functioning in physical, emotional,

vocational and social structures. our vision  also is to provide the  medication assisted treatment needs in a

private setting  that respects the dignity of those we serve.  

Our treatment philosophy is based on the understanding that opiate  dependence is a primary  disorder that

can be treated successfully with medication,  counseling and supportive  services.  Through counseling, we advocate

and promote  behavior modification and teach  responsible decision-making to improve the quality  of lives of

those people we serve and,  to empower them to resume productive  lifestyles.

Black Community Developers, Inc. (BCD) is a non-profit
community based organization  dedicated to brightening the
future of children and youth, and improving the quality of
life for underserved, disadvantaged and at risk families in
 metropolitan Little Rock  and the throughout the state of
 Arkansas.   We are strong advocate for children, youth and
families, supporting polices and programs  that focus
attention on their needs and foster positive solutions.
Also,  BCD-Hoover Center is a spiritual home where all
people are  unconditionally accepted, where needs are met,
lives are nurtured and recovery and healing takes place.
 BCD HIV/AIDS Project responds to the critical consequences
 of drug abuse and the  epidemic of AIDS.  

Hoover Center/Neighborhood Support Center Substance Abuse
Program provides persons who are addicted to drugs and
alcohol with housing and other support to help them
transition back to a healthy, drug-free and productive
life.

Certification: The only Arkansas Bureau of Alcohol and
Drug Prevention (BADAP) certified faith based substance
abuse program operating in Little Rock.
Unique program features: Provides prevention, intervention,
 treatment and after-care. Clients receive a complete health
assessment, job readiness and life skills training, referrals
 for mental health and other health related issues. The substance abuse program is a 24-hour residential program which includes out-patient services. A client\'s stay in the program ranges between 60 to 90 days.
Cost: BCD operates the program through donations, state
contracts and grants.
Numbers Served: 550 persons are served each year.
Benefits/Outcomes: 70% of the clients are employed when
they leave the program. 50% or more are reunited with
their family unit. Former clients come back to give their
time, share their experiences and serve as volunteers.
